Nigerian Divers declare war on Barnacles

They are the biggest problems facing vessels in some waters.
Out from nowhere they appear under a vessel, use their heads to stick to the metal plate and feed with their legs.
They are called Barnacles.

Barnacles cause metal plates to rust early and leakages in a floating craft.

They also constitute unnecessary weight on vessels as they stick in the millions and cause vessels to experience drags when they sail at Sea, costing extra money in bunker.

That is why Divers are paid to dive under the sea to remove the barnacles.

They are anthropods, marine life and also live in shallow waters.

They also stick on woods, rocks and any object inside salt waters.
